It looked like an ordinary family moment.
A mother and her children were enjoying time outdoors, walking along a dusty path surrounded by natural bushland.
Nothing about the scene seemed particularly unusual.
The children were close together, and the ground beneath them appeared to be covered with nothing more than dirt, leaves, and small branches.
But when people looked more closely at the photograph, something unexpected caught their attention.
Hidden against the dusty ground was a shape that almost disappeared into its surroundings.
At first, it was easy to mistake it for a stick or a shadow.
Then viewers realized that the object wasn’t part of the landscape at all.
It was a snake.
And according to the description accompanying the image, it was positioned alarmingly close to a young boy’s feet.
