How many eggs do I have left?
Think carefully before scrolling down. Most people rush to an answer and end up getting it wrong!
A
B
C
The Answer
4 eggs.
Here’s Why:
Many people assume that the eggs that were broken, cooked, and eaten are different eggs. But the riddle never says that.
The same 2 eggs were:
- Broken
- Cooked
- Eaten
So only 2 eggs were used.
Starting with 6 eggs:
6 − 2 = 4
Answer: 4 eggs left
The trick is that the wording makes it sound as though six eggs were involved in three separate actions, when in reality the same two eggs can be broken, cooked, and then eaten.
