During his cabinet meeting in cabinet, Trump suggested major cities, like Chicago and New York could be safer with the National Guard in place and said he never wanted them to leave Washington DC.
“They love doing it. It’s like training,” he said of guard members.
“I never want to take them out of DC, I mean maybe somebody later on will do it but I never want to take [them out].”
“You know, people they say, ‘We feel so good, we feel so safe. We see these beautiful strong people and they’re so nice.’
