Growing up as the daughter of a Hollywood legend might sound like a dream, but Hannah Selleck wanted something entirely different from fame and movie cameras. Her father, beloved actor Tom Selleck, had built an extraordinary career in television. Yet Hannah found her greatest happiness far away from Hollywood, surrounded by horses on her family’s California ranch. She began riding at just four years old, and by her teenage years, her passion had become impossible to ignore.

After graduating from college, Hannah tried working at a public relations firm in Beverly Hills. But spending weekdays behind a desk while riding horses only on weekends left her feeling unfulfilled.
