Woodworker Ross Taylor demonstrated exactly what that can look like when he came across an Art Deco dressing table at a flea market with one irresistible label: “Free.” To most people, it looked ready for the dump. It was scratched, covered in unattractive paint, and had broken handles. But Taylor noticed the classic structure underneath all that damage. He took it home and began carefully stripping away years of neglect—without yet knowing just how dramatic the transformation would become.
