I was helping my girlfriend clean her bedroom when I noticed something strange underneath her wardrobe.

At first, I thought it was just a pile of dust.

But when I moved closer, my stomach dropped.

There was a small, oddly shaped object covered in hair, dirt, and something that looked almost like decaying skin.

I had absolutely no idea what I was looking at.

It didn’t resemble any ordinary household item. Its strange texture and unsettling appearance made me wonder whether something had died underneath the furniture.

For a moment, I seriously considered calling pest control.

I grabbed a tissue, carefully picked up the mysterious object, and examined it from different angles.

That only made things worse.

Finally, I decided to confront my girlfriend.

I walked into the other room, holding the object as far away from myself as possible.

She looked at my trembling hand, glanced at what I was holding, and suddenly burst into laughter.

Then she told me what it actually was — and I couldn’t believe I’d been so frightened.
