At first glance, this picture appears to be nothing more than a giant wall of number eights. Row after row looks almost identical, and within seconds your brain begins treating the entire grid as one repeating pattern. Hidden among the eights are several number nines. The difference is tiny: each nine has a small downward tail that can disappear when you scan too quickly. Try moving from left to right, one row at a time, without jumping ahead. Some people find the first few almost immediately and then become convinced they have found them all.
