At first glance, this unusual illustration appears to show an ordinary tree with twisting branches, thick roots, and a complicated network of shadows. But look carefully, because there’s something extraordinary hidden within the artwork. Several human faces have been cleverly incorporated into the tree, and finding every one of them is more difficult than it initially seems.
Some faces may be relatively easy to recognize, while others blend almost perfectly into the bark, branches, and surrounding shapes. What appears to be a simple curve could actually form someone’s nose, forehead, or chin. Even the spaces between branches might conceal important details.
Before continuing, take a moment to examine the entire picture. Count each face you recognize, but don’t rush. Try looking beyond the most obvious features and concentrating on smaller patterns.
